Job Description :
Full-Time Childcare Provider
A learning center in the South County Missouri area is seeking a dedicated, full-time Childcare Provider. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and fostering a nurturing, stimulating environment for young children.
Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Two shift options: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Non-public transit accessible; reliable personal transportation is required
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe, supportive learning environment
- Facilitate age-appropriate educational activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding the child’s progress and daily activities
- Support children in their social, emotional, and developmental growth
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with young children is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full work schedule
- Physical ability to meet the demands of an active, child-focused environment
Required Qualifications :
Health & Background Requirements:
- Must provide proof of a Hepatitis A vaccination and a current TB test.
- Must pass an FCSR (Family Care Safety Registry) screening and fingerprint background check, as required by state law.
- Reliable personal transportation is required, as the facility is not accessible by public transit.
