Job Description :
SUMMARY:   

This position is responsible for providing support to members for insurance and commercial programs for all communication, estimating, and timeline management requirements as well as estimating software support. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Communicate with members, carriers, and policyholders to investigate, identify, and resolve claim or job issues using defined company process, estimate, and payment issues.  60% of Time Provide continual member support for insurance company direct repair programs, including support for estimating software usage and proprietary job tracking software.  30% of Time Perform department administrative tasks such as assisting with entering and saving claims, job assignments, department emails, and claim updates.  10% of Time Each of the responsibilities will be accomplished with authentic service, attention to detail, sense of urgency, responsiveness, follow up, genuine care, and passion. 
Required Qualifications :

KNOWLEDGE AND BACKGROUND:   




The position requires a high school diploma (Associates degree in business preferred) plus 1-3 years' customer service support or claims experience. Experience utilizing various software programs or estimating experience preferred.  Requires the ability to easily learn new complex software programs, specifically estimating software including creating diagrams for room sketches.  Requires basic math knowledge and the ability to conceptualize dimensions.  This position requires personal computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) with proficient keyboard skills. Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner are essential.  Must have a general familiarity with all office equipment and a professional office environment.
