Position Title: CNC Machinist

Pay Rate: $17-25/hour, dependent on experience

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Position Summary:

The CNC Machinist position is a progressive role, advancing from the CNC Machine Operator. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC Mills and/or Lathes. Your duties will extend to light programming and editing responsibilities. We recognize and value candidates with more extensive experience and may consider them for senior roles, subject to their availability. Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes.


• Engaging in light programming and making necessary adjustments.


• Conducting part inspections according to blueprint specifications and making necessary adjustments.


• Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.


• Following and executing preventative maintenance protocols.


• Performing common shop math calculations.


• Utilizing advanced measurement skills.


• Working within precise tolerances.


• Demonstrating a strong willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in CNC machining or a relevant field.


• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.


• Detailed adherence to work instructions.


• Proficiency in G&M code.


• Ability to read and understand blueprints.


• Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.


• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.


• Years of Experience:


• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
