Job Description :
Responsibilities: Order Management: o Serves customers by accurately entering customer orders received via email and fax into operating system. o Verifies EDI transmittals and makes necessary corrections. o Verifies customer information is accurate. o Verifies price and discounts are appropriate and correct. o Checks customer account for credit and outstanding payments. o Checks inventory to assure requested product is available. o Informs customer of shipping date and any possible delays. · Customer Service: o Opens customer accounts by recording account information o Maintains customer and EDI records by updating customer account information o Promptly and professionally responds to incoming requests from customers and ensures that issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly. o Initiates required action for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicates changes to the appropriate departments. o Keeps detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, comments, and complaints. o Fosters and maintains relationships with external and internal customers. o Maintains updated knowledge of company products, services, and policies to provide superior service to customers.
Required Qualifications :
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. • Detail-oriented. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to problem solve and flexibility in managing tasks. • Strong organizational skills a must. Education and Experience: • College degree is an asset • Familiar with SAP or similar ERP system is a plus. • 2-4 years of experience, especially in a consumer product industry, is preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Intermediate skill with Excel. • Experience with EDI preferred
